WHAT TO EXPECT

Join us on a night filled with entertainment and performances by many talented performers of the music program at Port Moody Secondary School. Genres range from Rock, Indie, to R&B. A very easygoing event for you to enjoy with friends and good music.

An affordable concession will be available at the venue. Homemade pastries, snacks, and drinks all donated by friendly neighborhood households working hard to support this cause.

ALL the profit made from this event will be donated to MusiCounts.

Entry tickets can be bought at the door for $5 on the day of the event, which includes one raffle ticket for the draw.

Signing up in the RSVP above will get you three raffle tickets instead of one when purchasing your entry ticket.

This helps us prepare for the size of the crowd as well as the number of refreshments to prepare.

OUR GOAL

Proceeds will benefit MusiCounts, Canada’s music education charity associated with the JUNO Awards, who keep music alive in schools and communities across Canada.
MusiCounts' mission is to ensure that children in Canada have access to music programs through their school or community. By providing instruments for children who need it the most, MusiCounts is able to achieve such through the Band Aid program, the MusiCounts TF Community Music Program, the Teacher of the Year Award, Scholarships, The Fred Sherratt Awards, the MusiCounts Inspired Minds Ambassador Award, and other music education initiatives.
Doing our part, we'd like to raise money to provide the gift of music for those who can't afford it by holding this event.

If you're not able to make the event but also want to support this cause, click the icon below and a direct donation can be made at their main page.

WHO WE ARE

We are a group of musically passionate students from Port Moody Secondary. As the years pass by we notice the decrease in music programs that were in session due to number amount of students registering as well as the required student count to run a class.
As we are lucky enough to be able to attend a school where programs like such are taken for granted, naturally we'd like to share the importance of music education as well as to raise awareness for those who don't have access to such.
